Lost in the Wilderness

The artwork explores our connection with nature through a landscape that feels both peaceful and endless. The rolling layers of colour suggest hills, fields and paths stretching into the distance, creating a sense of being surrounded and absorbed by the natural world. The winding lines can be seen as paths through the wilderness, reflecting the uncertainty of not always knowing where we are going, but also the freedom that can come from letting go of direction. Lost in the Wilderness is about finding space away from the noise and structure of everyday life. Being lost does not necessarily mean wanting to be found; sometimes it is in those moments of uncertainty, surrounded by something much larger than ourselves, that we find calm, perspective and a different sense of direction.
